Windows 8.1 SkyDrive Options

SkyDrive has been a part of Windows 8 from the beginning. It has been put front and center in Windows 8.1.

The good thing is that under 8.1, SkyDrives level of integration is much more tweakable.

As it relates to SkyDrive, during install and upgrade you are going to face 2 options:

1 – Using a Local or Microsoft account. A Microsoft account is mandatory for SkyDrive integration.

2 – Whether or not to use SkyDrive.

The purpose of this article is to show you the new options in Windows 8.1 / SkyDrive settings so that you can decide ahead of time if you want to use it.
